Ava is an absolute riot; she is spunky, energetic, playful, and inquisitive. She has so much personality it's sheer Heaven to
be around her. She entertains us constantly. She loves playing and she is constantly into everything, yet, she is ultra sweet.
She loves giving kisses and interacting with people. We are beyond thrilled with this lovely girl and are
so thankful to her breeders for entrusting us with her. Ava is growing up to be a very nice Papillon and her personality is just
over the top fantastic.
Ava is still too young to call show or agility quality, but we do see tremendous potential in her.
She is well balanced, with a level topline and
straight legs. She isn't very photogenic, so the photos don't do her justice; in person she is unbelievably cute.
Ava is very refined and has a delicate and angelic face with dark eyes and
lovely markings. Going by her pedigree, she should grow a long coat and curtain fringe (so we hope). Ava loves learning and goes nuts when she sees that we
are about to start a training session. She is smart and is showing drive. Combined with her confidence, desire to work with people and her athleticism,
we think she has a lot of potential to be a very nice agility prospect. We will begin formal agility training with her this summer; we are keeping our fingers
crossed as she is showing more promise than we could have anticipated.
We chose her AKC name, Under a Texas Moon for a couple reasons. One, her dam is named after a musical so we decided to choose another musical to
name her after. Although not a popular musical, the name is befitting for a little girl who was born in Poland and moved to Texas. Plus is sounds prettier
than "Rent".
Ana chose the call name Ava as it's simply a name she loves.
