Welcome to our puppy page. If you are searching for a companion, there are several sources where you can obtain a Papillon from.

1. PET STORE: Pet stores obtain their puppies from back yard breeders or puppy mills. The later are typically large scale breeding farms that churn out hundreds of puppies a year for profit. The breeding animals are usually kept in deplorable conditions: www.papilloninformation.com/petstores.htm

2. RESCUE/SHELTER: Shelters are a great place to find a dog. Nationally, there are several rescue organizations that specialize in placing Papillons with forever homes. For a list, visit: www.papilloninformation.com/adoption.htm

3. BACKYARD BREEDER: Most people purchase their pets from a backyard breeder or BYB. This is the pet owner who decides to breed one litter or it's the breeder who breeds pet quality animals instead of champion animals.

4. SHOW BREEDER: This is the breeder who is breeding to improve the breed. They breed champion animals and are very active in showing, breed education, and are members of the breed's parent club.

5. REPUTABLE BREEDER: This is the breeder who is breeding to improve the breed. They breed champion animals or animals which are proven to be successful working/performance animals. They are very active in showing and are members of the breed's parent club. They health test all their animals before breeding them, breed on a very limited basis, screen homes very carefully before placing puppies, and require a contract for each puppy stating the puppy must be spayed/neutered and returned to the breeder if the buyer is no longer able or willing to care for the animal.

Beautifully marked classic tricolor with a sweet personality and silky coat. Miko has nice movement and is built well. His pedigree blends top English lines with some of the most successful American lines. Miko is available to a nice show home who'd be willing to share him with the current owners at a reduced price. He is major pointed and should finish quickly in capable hands. He is healthy and can be shipped. Miko is located in Texas; he is not from Aleda.

  • Our dogs live in our home as part of the family. They do not live in kennels nor are they segregated in a private room.
  • We show in conformation (dog shows) to demonstrate that our dogs adhere to the AKC breed standard.
  • All of our dogs are examined by a vet annually and are tested for PL, PRA and cardiac problems.
  • We also show in agility and believe Papillons should be athletic and structurally sound.
  • We use top American, English, and Scandinavian lines to aquire our desired look.
  • We are members of the Papillon Club of America.

  • We are extremely proud of the exceptional Papillons that we have been able to aquire and thank the breeders who have entrusted us with such nice representatives of the breed. We are thrilled with the beauty, athleticism, health and temperaments that we have in our kennel.

We take breeding very seriously and do not believe in churning out puppies for profit or ribbons. In fact, we have been in Papillons over 9 years and are yet to breed a litter. When there is the rare Aleda breeding, it will be to produce the next show/performance pet for us. Because we cannot keep every puppy, those sold will go only to the absolute best and most ethical homes. Anyone interested in an Aleda Papillon must be prepared to endure a lengthy interview process and must be prepared to wait several months as no one will be sold a puppy whom we do not know well enough to trust implicitly.

Planned Breeding: spring/summer 2009, Londyn with unnamed male
